A Frame of Mind began on the dining room table as Green Apple Crafts in the mid-1980's. It was designed as a creative outlet for my wife and son's artistic abilities. In 1986, with the purchase of a hand-held mat cutter and straight edge, the stage was set for the beginning of a fledgling business.

By 1995 growth demanded a larger work area. So a move from the house to a new two-story workshop became a reality. The next few years witnessed an upward spiral in customer demand for quality picture framing. So much so that by the beginning of 1998, the encouragement of family and friends led to the decision to leave a full-time private sector position to pursue the entrepreneurial dream.
